Abuse of minor in Palma

THE National Police have arrested a 33-year-old man for the alleged sexual abuse of his partner’s young daughter.
The abuse came to light when the 13-year old girl complained of pain in her intimate area to her mother, who made an appointment for her at the doctors where she was examined.
On Thursday, November 7, the mother returned with her daughter to collect the test results and was informed that the trauma was not typical for a child. The young girl then confessed that her injuries were the result of her mother’s partner who was abusing her.
Healthcare personnel immediately notified the National Police who corroborated the facts with the young girl. They then located the alleged perpetrator in Palma, arresting him for the sexual abuse of a minor.
