EUNOIA is a newly formed association dedicated to fighting childhood cancer and will be holding a charity gala at the Casa de Cultura in Alfas del Pi from 7pm on Friday November 15. Headlining the event will be musical duo Sara and Kike who won over the hearts of viewers of TV show Got Talent when they played their self-composed song to three-year-old daughter Lucia who is herself battling cancer. Tickets cost €5 and €10 from the Casa del Cultura and all proceeds will be donated to ASPANION, the Association of Parents of Children with Cancer The name EUNOIA means positive thinking and this is what the organisation which is supported by the local council with Councilwoman Martine Mertens hopes to achieve as it grows and increases its support for those in need.
