THE English Choir of Teulada Moraira was delighted to be invited once again to take part in the Remembrance Service at Javea’s picturesque Fisherman’s Church.
Appearing along with the Lady Elizabeth Choir they presented two ballads to an absolutely packed church and were received with great enthusiasm. The choir is now back in the rehearsal room in practice for their joint concert with the Costa Blanca Male Voice Choir. Entitled ‘Friends in Harmony’, the performance will take place at Espai la Senietta in Moraira on Wednesday November 20 and Thursday 21.
The two choirs have put together a great programme featuring ABBA, The Beatles, Carol King and Elton John favourites. Add in a touch of Mozart and Bacharach, a sprinkling of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Handel, and the stage is set for an evening of fun and nostalgia with something to suit everyone’s musical tastes.
Tickets costing €12 can be booked on line by visiting www.costablancamalevoicechoir.com All the proceeds from the concerts will go to the Alzheimer’s Society.
