Jumbo jet among abandoned planes at Valencia airport

VALENCIA airport is looking for the owners of 24 apparently abandoned aircrafts, including a jumbo jet.

A notice has been published in the Official State Bulletin with the aim of locating the owners of the planes.

In accordance with the Air Navigation Law the same notice will be published in three consecutive months. If no-one comes forward to claim an aircraft within a year of the third publication it will be sold off at public auction and the State will keep the proceeds.

Aside from the Boeing 747 all the unclaimed planes at the airport are light aircraft.
