THE Casa de la Juventud de Almuñécar has held a performance of the show “”Freak Show De improvisto” at the Centro Cívico de La Herradura and Casa de la Juventud.
The performance was part of the Youth Month initiative which is currently providing activities and workshops across the municipality throughout November.
Three workshops took place on Monday 4, Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 November at Casa de la Juventud which focused on the production, shooting and post production of audio visual projects as well as practice exercises in the making of a short film, TV program, video clip or report.
Saturday 8 and 9, a performance of the play, “Freak Show De improvisto” took place with a collection of improvised and sometimes hilarious sketches and unforgettable performances from the actors involved.
As part of the workshops, with the support of Red Cross and Andalusia Digital Commitment, attendees were given education of the security risks of social media use with the aim of “educating to protect”.
This weeks activities are part of a month long initiative which includes plans for over 30 different activities and performances.
