PRIOR to meeting expatriates in Marbella last Tuesday, British Consul to Malaga, Charmaine Arbouin spent the morning in Benahavis at the request of the Council.

She and colleagues from the consular and health team spoke to an interested audience as the town hall explaining the possible implications of Brexit, be it soft or hard and answered a number of questions from the floor.

Although only a relatively small town, Benahavis has attracted a large number of relatively affluent expatriates, many of whom are British and welcomed the opportunity to find out more about the various websites operated by the British Government which give detailed advice on a wide range of subjects.
