GUARDIA Civil unearthed an indoor marijuana plantation in a Roquetas de Mar property.
Officers found 253 plants inside the house in the town centre along with 10 illegal connections to the power supply. They also seized various materials which they said were used to boost the plantation production.
Neighbours’ complaints about the strong smell of the drug wafting out of the property first alerted the authorities to the possible existence of an illegal plantation.
The Guardia reported the investigation remained opened and said they had not ruled out marking arrests in connection with the discovery.
