A BODY has been found by a woman who was walking in the countryside in Puntiró. The discovery was made on Tuesday afternoon (November 12) when a woman who was looking for mushrooms found a corpse in the woodland. The woman immediately alerted the police and emergency services who rushed to the scene. After searching the surrounding area, officers found a bag with documentation inside and items of women’s clothing. At this time, investigators are trying to determine if there is a coincidence in the identities and if the documentation corresponds to a person who has been reported missing to authorities. The body, which police have revealed to be in an advanced state of decomposition, has been transferred to the Institute of Legal Medicine, where a DNA test will be performed. The results will take around 15 days.
