THE footbridge over the Calpe section of the N-332 should soon become a reality. The national government, which is responsible for Spain’s main roads and motorways, has put out to tender contracts for maintaining the AP-7 toll road which reverts to the State next year. Not only does this appears to confirm that the State will abolish tolls but the Ministry of Public Works €13.78 million tender for the AP-7’s Alicante section involves work on the N-332.
