A COUPLE owed money from a drugs sale kidnapped a man then made him set up a marihuana plantation in his home, police allege.
National Police officers have arrested a 42-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman, for illegal detention, coercion, drug trafficking and misappropriation.
A man complained to police that he had been held against his will for seven days by a couple to whom he owed money for a drug-related issue. He said that during the detention he was threatened with a gun, was forced to finance the purchase of a television and set up a plantation in a spare room of his house in Antequera.
A police search found 50 grammes of marihuana, 3.92 grammes of cocaine and substances for cutting the drug. In addition, a television, three small arms, a precision scale, nine mobile phones and €135 were seized.
