ALFAZ’S Fiestas were safer this year for many residents and visitors, thanks to a free bus service.
This ran in the early hours of each fiesta day, linking the town centre with Albir, the San Rafael urbanisation and Parque de Escandinavia.
His department had a double objective, Fiestas councillor Oscar Perez explained: “We wanted to make it easy for everybody to take part in the fiestas and at the same time encourage peña members and residents to avoid driving under the influence of alcohol.”
