ORIGINALLY commissioned by the Royal Opera of Versailles, the ballet Marie-Antoinette is performed to the music of Joseph Haydn and choreographed by Thierry Malandain.
The ballet brings to the stage the story of a woman who was a patron of the arts, singer and musician as well as a Queen and a lover of parties and flamboyance.
All of her life and her obsessions are inspected within this fascinate performance with a large number of dancers on stage.
The ballet will be performed at the Cervantes Theatre on November 26, the day before Romeo and Juliet with tickets costing from €16 to €48.
