Mojacar Bowls Club celebrates annual trophy presentation dinner

THE Mojacar Bowls Club annual trophy presentation dinner proved to be a popular event.
Staged on Friday night at the Hotel Continental in Mojacar Playa, 65 club members plus a number of friends supported the occasion.
It was, the club’s Alan Bramble said, “a fitting level of support for our club which has long enjoyed a reputation for being ‘the friendly club’.”
Following what Alan said was a “superb” meal, the winners and runners-up in the club’s bowls competitions held throughout 2019 were formally honoured and presented with their trophies.
When the music started up, many of the members enthusiastically took to the dance floor to continue what was a highly enjoyable night.
