Ferrari drivers Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc have been ordered by team bosses to the Italian team’s Maranello headquarters following their collision in Sunday’s Brazilian Grand Prix.
The warring Ferrari drivers crashed out with five laps remaining as they diced for fourth position and the team owners are not very pleased at all.
Paul Mohamed at the race told us The Euro Weekly News “Ferrari Team principal Mattia Binotto blew his stack as the drivers took themselves out of the race crashing into each other – it’s just something that is not acceptable especially at Ferrari where they normally run a number one and number 2 driver, recently though they relaxed this ruling and now this has happened”
” Binotto went mental shouting at both his drivers ” I’ll see you straight back at base – change your plans”
Both drivers would not normally return to Italy as they would take a week home before flying out to Abu Dhabi for the final race of the season on December 1st.
Paul went onto say ” I would love to be a fly on the wall in that meeting, the rivalry between the two drivers has clearly spilled over as Vettel struggles with the new kid on the block”
