ODD FELLOWS COSTA BLANCA donated €500 to Alfaz’s Social Volunteers

ODD FELLOWS COSTA BLANCA donated €500 to Alfaz’s Social Volunteers for the local food bank.The Voluntariado Social, which now has 50 members, is a non-profitmaking association that since 2013 has helped Alfaz residents who risk social exclusion.Last month the Odd Fellows visited Voluntariado Social last month with a view to working with the Alfaz organisation, and the €500 donation for the Food Bank was the result of their meeting. The Independent Orderof the Oddfellows was formed in Britain two centuries ago and has been present in Norway for 100 years.Like Voluntariado Social, Odd Fellows Costa Blanca, whose members are mainly Scandinavian, assist charitable and social projects.
