In what is believed to be his last official public appearance before taking an extended break with his wife Meghan and son Archie Harrison, Prince Harry showered climate activist Greta Thunberg with praise.

Greta who has recently been under fire and in the media spotlight, as reported in early news by Euro Weekly News, was this weekend lavished by praise from Prince Harry.

According to EXPRESS, Prince Harry made the comments during a speech at the OnSide Awards at the Royal Albert Hall in London. A ceremony which aims to champion the achievements of children who have made a difference to their community. It urges thousands of youngsters to continue to try and take steps to “unlock” their potential.

The Prince recalled how Greta had been “one voice,” when she had started her campaign sitting on her own outside the Swedish parliament, dismissed at the time by many adults.

Harry went on to state, as recorded by EXPRESS, that even though Greta had been just one person at the beginning, she had a belief and a mission. A young girl with a “desire to do something not just for herself but for everyone,” and now, as the Duke of Sussex reflects “the whole world is paying attention.”

Harry’s praise included saying that every country, community, school, friendship and family needed “their own Greta”. A leader who is prepared to stand up for what they believe and show how much they care for the people in their lives and the community around them.

The Duke used part of his speech to emphasis how important it is to understand your own mental health as much as your own physical health.
