ROAD RAGE: Man chased woman to Marbella shopping centre on the Costa del Sol then ran over her feet as he sped off

The police are still handing out at least a 100 fines a day to people who are choosing to ignore the lockdown restrictions, despite the penalties, confirmed Malaga Town Hall.

IN what would appear to be a case of road rage, a Dutchman allegedly chased woman driver along the A-7 before assaulting her in the Costa del Sol’s Marbella.

Then as he sped off afterwards, he drove over the feet of his victim, according to Spain’s National Police.

Officers have now arrested in Marbella a 25-year-old man accused of crimes of injury and against traffic safety. In a statement police told the Euro Weekly News that the suspect was driving along the AP-7 at Marbella when, allegedly, without warning he began to harass and endanger the driver of another vehicle.

A chase started, with police saying the suspect driving recklessly and endangering the lives of other drivers.

The victim left the motorway and tried to take refuge at a shopping centre. But the Dutch man allegedly followed her, jumped out of his car, confronted the woman then recklessly sped off.

The events occurred at around 3.20 pm on Thursday, November 7. Police started an investigation and identified a suspect and car they believed were responsible for the incident.

The vehicle of the alleged perpetrator was located and towed away from a street in Marbella several days later.

When the owner went to the police station to retrieve his vehicle he was arrested and eventually charged.
