Euro Weekly News official media sponsor for the Dames in Spain (Mojacar) grand fundraising Christmas Bazaar.
THE upcoming Dames in Spain Christmas bazaar promises to be unmissable, and the Euro Weekly News is more than delighted to be the official media sponsor of the grand fundraising event.
The superb range of stalls offering all kinds of Christmas gift ideas, crafts, mouth-watering home-made cakes and much more is inevitably one of the big attractions, but is by no means all that will be going on. There will be all sorts of entertainment, which is why every year the bazaar attracts a large crowd from both the local Spanish and foreign resident communities.
From 10am onward the sounds of the Festive Season with ring out around the Mojacar multi-uses centre bazaar venue. The Mojacar band will perform, plus there will be Christmas carol singing led by local performers Tony Justice and Lady Ellen, followed by free wine and mince pies.
As well as enjoying a sing-along you can try your luck on the tombola and the Grand Raffle. There are really outstanding prizes up for grabs, and this year EWN is contributing the top prize: a fantastic Smart TV!
The Mojacar-based Dames is Spain is an organisation which deserves all our support for the ever active role it plays in local life, and above all else for its sterling efforts to raise money for excellent causes.
The Dames chosen charities this year are the MACS cancer association, the Asprodalba association for the intellectually disabled and the Stepping Stones carers group, and at this year’s bazaar they will be presenting cheques for no less than €1,000 to each one.
The bazaar takes place in the Mojacar multi-uses centre opposite the roundabout close to the public fountain and the road leading up to the village on Saturday November 30. EWN will see you there!
