A donation to charity in Benalmadena Costa del Sol

Presentation of the cheque Credit: Cudeca Hospice

THE British Society of Benalmadena Pueblo meet every month for a Sunday lunch and since June of this year have been encouraging members to leave a donation of some amount in a giant wine bottle.

This was organised in memory of two of their members who sadly passed away this year but were given assistance during the time of their illness by the Cudeca Hospice in Benalmadena.

The sum of €1,099.95 was collected by the members and earlier this month the bottle as opened and the money counted so that a cheque in that amount could be handed to Hospice representative Natalia Aparicio Lombardo by club president John Kelly and his wife Marijana.
