Another pedestrian road in Fuengirola Costa del Sol

Work is already underway Credit: Ayuntamiento de Fuengirola

AS part of the ongoing work to develop a larger number of pedestrian areas, the latest street to be tackled is the Calle Chanquete de Los Boliches in Fuengirola.

It is expected that the work will take some 20 days at a cost of €18,000 and the asphalt road will be taken up and replaced by paving stones to make the area more attractive to visitors and residents.

The concept has been created with the agreement of local businesses and residents as this is an important road which attracts many tourists walking down to the Paseo Maritimo.
