Alicante and Valencia urban traffic accident black spots

ONE road in Alicante and two in Valencia are ranked among the top 15 urban traffic accident black spots in Spain.
The Avenida de Denia in Alicante at the tunnel entrance level with number 75 is listed in sixth place nationally for the highest concentration of serious traffic accidents by the Linea Directa Foundation.
Avenida del Cid in Valencia level with number 150 is named as eighth worse and Avenida Blasco Ibañez de Valencia in the area of Calle Marino Blas de Lezo is in 12th spot.
The foundation analysed 500,000 urban and inter-urban accidents registered by the General Directorate of Traffic between 2013 and 2017 and more than 70,000 serious accidents attended to by Linea Directa in which those involved were unable to continue driving and in many cases suffered injuries.
