COSTA BLANCA NEWS – BENIDORM HEALTH CENTRE DELAYED

THE new Rincon de Loix health centre is a priority, Benidorm town hall has declared.
Despite this, the centre will not open until 2022 as the regional government allocated the centre only €160,000 in its 2020 Budget, leaving €3.6 million for 2021 and 2022.
Urban Development councillor Lourdes Caselles said: “We hope the Generalitat will reconsider and accept a Partido Popular amendment requesting a substantial increase in the 2021 allocation.”
The town hall had fulfilled its own obligations, ceding a 3,588-square metre plot of land, reclassifying it for public use and modifying the Town Plan (PGOU), she pointed out.
