Floody hell! Part of Costa del Sol’s Fuengirola under water

Fuengirola saw some serious flooding today, as this photo shows.

Facebook user Gemma Devine also shared a post about an overturned lorry on a road into the town earlier today.

The weather is set to get worse tomorrow before it gets better on Saturday, so hold on to your brollies and wellies!

The State Meteorological Agency has issued a yellow alert from midnight tonight, with heavy rains in Malaga and around.

Further rain will be accompanied by strong winds and gusts.

Areas from the Iberian Peninsula to southern France and Italy will be dealt the worst blow from the storm which will sweep through the countries.
