New Fintech business in Spain

PLAID is a financial technology company based in San Francisco which builds a technology platform that allows consumers and businesses to interact with their bank accounts, check balances, and make payments through financial technology applications.

After an initial successful launch in the UK where it has taken over two smaller companies it is now expanding to open operations in France, Ireland and Spain.

Initial Spanish arrangements include agreements with BBVA, La Caixa and Santander and this Fintech Company is now worth more than €250 million.
