Dog rescued from car submerged underwater in Mallorca

THE Mallorca Fire Brigade have rescued a dog which was trapped inside a car that fell into a torrent in Vinagrella, Mallorca.
The incident occurred during the morning of November 23, when a car travelling close to a stream plunged into the water. The driver managed to escape but was not able to retrieve the dog, with the vehicle being partially submerged underwater.
The Rescue Unit of Muntanya d’Inca, a division of Mallorca Fire Brigade, was deployed after the driver called the emergency services. A rescue operation was then launched and thanks to the rapid response of firefighters, the dog was saved.
