NEWS IN SPAIN: Two men arrested for sexually abusing minors in Spain

THE Guardia Civil has arrested two men in Madrid, Spain for the sexual abuse of minors.

As reported by the Directorate General of the Guardia Civil, a 25- and 26-year-old man were found to be contacting minors through various social networks, tricking them into believing that the end of the world was coming and, to be saved, they had to make sexual favours for the men.

An investigation found that the men, who called themselves, ‘El Dios’ and ‘La Muerte’, began to establish a relationship with the victims, who were all from Ávila, through exchanging intimate photographs. We at Euro Weekly News understand that the men also encouraged their victims to find other minors in vulnerable situations.

Officers proceeded to arrest the two men, one of which was based in the capital, with the other living in the town of Alcorcón.

So far, five victims have been identified by the Guardia Civil, with the men being charged with 11 counts of sexual abuse against minors. Police also reveal that one of the men had recently completed a degree in teaching and was hoping to access the education system in the next academic year.

The operation was carried out by the Judicial Police Team of the Guardia Civil with the support of the Research Tehnology Team in Avila.
