TWO people have died after a plane crashed into the Casarrubios del Monte airfield in Toledo, Spain.
As reported by the 112 emergency service, the incident occurred this Sunday (November 24), after a plane plummeted into the ground where it then became engulfed by fire.
Several units from the emergency services rushed to the scene, including firefighters from Santa Olalla Park in Toledo, the Guardia Civil, Local Police, a helicopter and a basic life support ambulance (SVB). Sadly, there was nothing that could be done to save the occupants inside.
We at Euro Weekly News understand that the identity of the deceased is yet to be revealed by authorities who have subsequently launched an investigation to find out the cause of the fatal crash.
