Vegetable residue recycling

SOME 20 tonnes a month of vegetable origin residues in El Campello are recycled into agricultural and garden compost.

More than 100 catering establishments and 35 individuals have registered to deposit waste like coffee grounds, egg shells, paper towel and leftover bread in brown so-called ‘fifth containers’.
