A 32-YEAR-OLD woman has died after falling from her motorbike in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning (November 24) on Calle Andreu Torrens, a few metres from the popular Parc de sa Riera. A witness discovered an injured woman lying on the floor, immediately calling the 112 emergency services where an ambulance was then deployed. Paramedics performed resuscitation on the woman who was in cardiac arrest, however, despite their best efforts, the woman sadly died at the scene. Police have launched an investigation to find out the cause of the fatal road accident, analysing security cameras in the area due to the lack of witnesses in the neighbourhood at the time. In absence of official confirmation, the police suspect that strong winds may have led to the woman losing control of her motorbike, where she then collided with a lamppost on the street. We at Euro Weekly News understand that Palma National Police have not yet revealed the identity of the woman as are currently locating her next of kin.
