ALMUÑÉCAR will host the first edition of the Andalusian Circuit for Veterans of Women’s Handball this Sunday (December 1). Organised by the the Granada Veterans Handball Club with collaboration of the Andalusian Handball Federation (FABN) and Almuñécar City Council, 8 teams from different provinces in Andalusia will compete at the exciting event. At a presentation for the competition, Councillors Luis Aragón and María del Carmen Reinoso expressed their support for the tournament, stating that “Almuñécar has become a reference in the sport of women’s handball.” Led by referees provided by the FABM, the event will kick-off at 9.30am at the Municipal Sports Centre of Almuñécar, welcoming CBM Veteranas Granada, CBM Ciudad de Algeciras, CBM Malaga Costa del Sol, CD BM Zalamea la Real in Huelva, CD Sevilla, BM Los Villares in Jaén, San Fernando in Cádiz and BM Veteranas Almería.
