Rotarians given big welcome as Azamara Pursuit makes Costa del Sol debut

Captain Antonio Toledo presents plaque to Rotary President, Mark Shurey

MEMBERS of the Rotary Club Marbella-Guadalmina were special guests when the luxurious Azamara Pursuit cruise liner made its inaugural visit to Malaga Port.

They were invited aboard to host a meeting at which Rotarians travelling on the ship were invited.

After a tour of the ship, drinks and canapes were served in one of the ship’s speciality restaurants and Captain Antonio Toledo presented the club President Mark Shurey with a plaque to mark the visit.

The club was then able to convene a formal meeting at which the guest speaker was Myra Azzopardi of Citizens Advice Bureau, Spain, www.citizensadvice.org.es who gave an interesting talk followed by a Q&A session.
