AT 6pm on December 11, Czech people all over the world will be singing traditional Christmas carols and Mijas will not miss out as the same will happen outside the town hall in La Cala de Mijas.

In actual fact, celebrations will start a little earlier at 4pm when guests are invited to sample  some mulled wine, typical Czech delicacies and Christmas cookies all from the special stand being erected.

It’s organised by the Czech community with assistance and support of the Mijas Foreigners Department and is a gesture of goodwill from the Czech community to their Spanish hosts and members of other expatriate communities.
