Detained for torching Almeria paper recycling skip

POLICE arrested a 19-year old for torching a paper recycling skip in Almeria city. The detention relates to an incident in October, when the fire service was called out to extinguish the blaze on Calle Firmamento. The company responsible for the recycling service reported the fire, which caused nearly €1,000 of damage. Police investigations confirmed the fire had been started on purpose. Thanks to footage from nearby security cameras they were able to identify the suspected arsonist, a young man with a police record.
