WASTE collectors in Marratxí in Mallorca, Spain, have announced an indefinite strike from December 23 to protest against their pay and conditions.
As Euro Weekly News understands, the CCOO workers’ union state that staff haven’t been given a pay rise since 2012 and demand that wages are increased by 7% immediately and by another 4% over the next 3 years.
