THE Coín-based charity SEARCH – the Spanish Equine Association for Rescue, Care and Homing founded by Sue Barns and her husband Alan – will be holding this year’s annual Christmas Open Day at Finca El Sueño, on Saturday December 14, from 12 noon to 4pm.

The popular event is always a special occasion, but this time more so than ever, since torrential rain and flooding meant that not only did SEARCH have to cancel their September Garden Party but sadly their November fundraiser as well

So this is the last chance this year to support the vital work so tirelessly carried out by SEARCH, who concentrate all their efforts on the rehabilitation and retraining of the horses – previously abused both emotionally and physically – they have rescued, as well as rebuilding their trust and confidence in order to help them to enjoy a bright future and find loving homes.

Visitors will be able to enjoy delicious hot turkey rolls, veggie burgers, mince pies and homemade cakes and wish all the horses a very Merry Christmas.

Mulled wine, coffee and brandy are also available with drinks costing €1 each.

Places are limited, so to make sure you obtain your place please call Sue on 660 220 700 Chor email info@serch.es. For more information visit www.search.es.
