Costa Blanca news: Calpe children's charity

MAKE A Smile return with their annual Christmas Bag Appeal. The Charity based in Calpe has been gathering items for local children in care with the hope of bringing a smile to their faces over Christmas. They ask that you donate vital items for the vulnerable and unfortunate children and their dedicated carers without whom they would lead very different lives.
Some ideal items that people can donate may be ones that we take for granted such as much needed school supplies like pens and pencils or comfortable items to see them through the colder months like dressing gowns, slippers, socks and pyjamas. The children could really benefit from T-shirts, jumpers or even clothing vouchers so they can pick things themselves and items to allow them to relax like games and the batteries to go with them.
There are lots of drop off points listed on their website www.makeasmile.es based in many places like Calpe, Moraira-Teulada, Benidorm, Javea, Jalon Valley and Benissa.
