One hundred people joined Teulada-Moraira town hall’s WhatsApp and email scheme in its first 10 days. This is a “do not answer” one-way link, that connects directly and immediately with the public, explained Communications councillor Aitor Llobell. “When we took over at the town hall we were quite clear informing the local population needed to be direct and fluid,” he said. “Many people use mobile phones and this way we can be in touch with people immediately, informing them about municipal activities or passing on important announcements,” Lobell commented. “We are very satisfied with the way this has been received and hope that in time we can reach most of our residents. ”To join the scheme it is first necessary to fill in the form that is available at the SIT offices in the town hall in Teulada and Espai la Senieta in Moraira. We hope that other communities in Spain may follow suit! It can also be downloaded from: http://www.teuladamoraira.com.es/ayttm/uploaded/NOTICIAS/autorizacion.pdf) and then emailed to: alcaldia@teuladamoraira.org
