A MANHUNT is underway after a 14-year-old girl reported that she was raped as she walked through a park in north London, England.

The young girl called a relative following the horrifying attack at Chestnuts Park in Haringey at 7.10pm yesterday evening (December 5), where she said a man had launched a sexual assault after trying to speak to her.

The Metropolitan Police were then immediately informed and have subsequently set up a cordon around the scene as they search the area for key evidence. A spokesman said:

“Police were called at 19:10hrs on Thursday, 5 December after a 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped in Chestnuts Park in Haringey.

“The victim was allegedly approached by a man who tried to engage her in conversation before raping her. The victim later alerted a family member who called police.

“There have been no arrests. A crime scene is in place and enquiries continue.”

As Euro Weekly News understands, no arrests have so far been made and anyone with information in the UK is asked to call 101.
