BENITATXELL’S Moraig cove has top marks for the quality of its waters.
A Valencian government statistical analysis of the area’s sea water classified it as “excellent”, the highest of the four possible classifications.
The conclusions of the Hydraulic Services and Water Quality’s Planning Service were based on an intense study carried out over the last four bathing seasons and 59 samples, 14 of which were from summer 2019.
“This study certifies what we already knew, that the Moraig, as well as being pretty, is a unique beach of outstanding quality”, commented Benitatxell Tourism councillor Victor Bisquert.
