Storm Warning From The Euro Weekly News

The Euro Weekly News contact at the Met centre says winds of up to 70mph could hit some areas in a warning that covers from 3pm on Sunday to 9am Monday.

Storm-force winds will batter Britain this weekend with gusts of up to 70mph.

The Euro Weekly News close source in England  say an area of low pressure, named Storm Atiyah is expected to move from the west of the country across to the east late on Sunday going into Monday.

A yellow severe weather warning has been issued for the west coast of Wales and southwest of England

Inland, winds are expected to reach 50-60mph and 70mph around the coast with large coastal waves expected up to 12 feet.

Western parts of Northern Ireland and Scotland are are also forecast to be hit with gusts of up to 57mph overnight.

Our close source says the low-pressure is expected to move to the east coast of north England and Scotland in the early hours of Monday morning with gusts up to 55mph.
