A WOMAN has died after falling from the top floor of a multi-storey car park at Gatwick Airport in England.

As reported by Sussex Police, officers were called to the airport’s North Terminal on Saturday morning (December 7) after reports of a serious fall. Sadly, there was nothing the paramedics could do to save the woman, who is believed to be in her 20s, as she was pronounced dead at the scene.

As Euro Weekly News understands, the police are not treating the death as suspicious and the coroner’s officer will continue their enquiries.

The airport was also subject to delays and disruption later that day after police received a bomb threat made against an easyJet flight travelling from Krakow to Gatwick. After safely landing the plane, it was held on the runway for approximately 40 minutes while officers carried out safety checks. All flights at the airport were grounded after the initial alert, which turned out to be a hoax.
