Police fining scooters in Malaga
Marbella Town Hall has removed electric scooters from a Spanish company that had started to operate without the necessary permits in the Costa del Sol city.
The phenomenon of electric scooter rentals arrived in Marbella but the launch was not successful. SUR newspaper confirmed that a company began operations in November without any type of authorisation from the Town Hall. Local Police seized 15 of the firm’s scooters in the city centre and old town area.
The company has been reprimanded for operating without municipal permits and the Town Hall has insisted that the city isn’t looking to implement this method of transport.
