A lovely six year-old girl who was diagnosed with a brain tumour as a baby has reached number one in the Amazon Music Chart with a charity Christmas single.

With help from her auntie, the six year old Lyra Cole has released an adorable cover of Cliff Richard’s ‘ When A Child Is Born ‘ to help raise money for the charity Brain Tumour Research.

Within days of the song coming out, the seasonal classic went straight to the top of the Amazon download charts, ahead of famous names such Stormzy and The X Factor mob.

Lyra was just five months old when she had to have emergency surgery to remove a nasty brain tumour the size of a full orange.

Thankfully her tumour  was successfully removed during an 11-hour gruelling long operation.

Whilst the operation was successful saving her little life Lyra was struggling to see and had a second operation a year later which restored her sight.

The beautiful young lady is now top of the charts!

since its release, the song has had more than 100,000 views on YouTube within a week and has even received attention from various celebs, including Sir Cliff Richard himself.
