A MAN has tragically died and another man is seriously injured after a collision between a bicycle and motorbike in Costa del Sol’s Malaga, Spain.
According to the emergency services, the incident occurred yesterday evening (December 14) on the Antonio Machado promenade. As the accident was called in, witnesses stated that the cyclist was lying unconscious on the floor and that the driver of the motorbike was also injured.
An ambulance rushed to the scene, however, despite their best efforts to save the 60-year-old man, he died a short time later. The 24-year-old motorcyclist was transferred to the University Clinical Hospital where as Euro Weekly News understands he is undergoing an evaluation.
An investigation has now been launched by the police to determine the exact circumstances behind this tragic incident.
