THE first term of this year’s Spanish for Foreigners course has now finished. Other Nationalities councillor Martine Mertens recently visited the students to wish them a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, also taking the opportunity to remind them that the new course begins on January 14th. The course is organised by Pangea, the official body that attends to immigrants, and aims to encourage social integration with a programme of assessment and language lessons. More information on this and other courses offered by Alfaz town hall is available at the Pangea Office located at the Centro L’Alfas + Social beside the Veles e Vents primary school.
