JOY RIDER STEALS PLANE AND RAMS IT INTO AIRPORT

A 17-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of stealing a plane before crashing it into an airport!

The girl, who has not been named, is accused of climbing a fence near Fresno Yosemite International Airport’s maintenance building in California yesterday.

She is then alleged to have gained access to a private King 200 propeller-driven aircraft and fired up one of its engines, Fresno Police Chief Drew Bessinger said.

He then stated that the plane began to move and pivot but did not become airborne.

The plane was damaged after crashing through a fence and into a nearby building.

Mr Bessinger said the teenager was found sat in the pilot’s seat of the aircraft.
