COSTA BLANCA NEWS: Charred human remains found near Alicante castle

POLICE have detained a woman in relation to charred human remains discovered on a hillside next to Alicante city’s San Fernando castle early on Saturday afternoon, Spanish press reported.
The grisly find followed reports to the authorities a fire had broken out in an area of Monte Tossal near to the Rico Perez stadium commonly associated with drugs and the homeless.
Officers came across the body among the fire debris.
Investigators are working to determine whether this is a case of accidental death or homicide, according to media reports.
