Calpe town hall issued a poster with recommendations for children’s Christmas presents. “What are we giving?” gives advice on the gifts that parents and relatives need to avoid and those they should buy to create an equal society. The poster stressed the importance of play in emotional and social development, reminding parents that this is how children learn to respect the world they live in as well as other people. Toys have no gender and are not exclusive to boys or girls, and there are as many colours as there are people, the poster declared.
