Educational opportunities for Costa Almeria youngsters thanks to Vera agreement with Murcia university

COLLABORATION: Vera council will carry out joint educational activities with UCAM CREDIT: Ayuntamiento de Vera

A COLLABORATION agreement between Vera council and Murcia’s Catolica San Antonio University will provide complementary educational opportunities for local youngsters, the local authority said.
“The Education department overseen by Carolina Perez has carried out an important job to achieve this agreement, which is going to permit us to put into action joint educational activities with the UCAM in order to offer young people in Vera and the whole region a quality complementary academic training with maximum guarantees, which will allow them to be more competitive which it comes to entering the labour market”, commented Vera Mayor Jose Carmelo Jorge Blanco.
The agreement makes provision for collaborations on scientific and technical investigation projects, in which students studying for a doctorate can participate as part of their thesis.
It also covers the development of joint specialised training programmes, as graduates, postgraduates and for doctorate programmes, teaching support for graduates, postgrads and doctorate programmes through conferences and seminars, the use of technical and scientific infrastructure, exchanges of investigators, technical-scientific and academic consultancy and the editing of publications.
