EDITION 71 of the Volta Ciclista a la Comunitat Valenciana will be held from February 5 to 9, 2020. The first stage of the test will start from Castelló and will end with an urban circuit in Valencia. The five kilometre section that climbs between Altea and Bernia is found to be particularly difficult with a slope of more than 600 metres. Ángel Casero, director of the event, pointed out that this will come at the end of the fourth stage, ’La Etapa Reina’, on Saturday, February 8. ”The stage will end with the spectacular climb to the Sierra de Bèrnia to the Fuente de la Barca. The event has the participation of 12 World Tour teams and 7 Continental Pro teams.”
